Very disappointing, except for the spa facilities and staff
by Graeme Simpson from Hertfordshire, 1 Oct 07
The hotel caters predominantly for Europeans, chips and pizzas etc, there was a distinct lack of variety of Thai food, for example, Thai green curry is not on the menu, but numerous pizzas are. The spa is out of this world, as are the staff.
However don't be mislead by the photos of the resort. There is little if anything to do at night. The bar is dead at night. Instead go out on the courtesy bus to white sands, it leaves from the foyer at 5pm, at least there is night life there. The beds are like concrete and the air conditioning system is archaic and has to be turned off at night, as it is so noisy.
A great shame as we were so looking forward to going, but felt the hotel is overpriced, lacking on quality and fairly remote. Definately not for honeymooners, as we were.

check it out~

I think the ambience is great for couples who want to spend time by themselves and not to be disturbed. Indulge in the nature that surrounds it. The Thai food there is great and so is the resorts service.
The night life is also something you guys might want to look forward to. They too have the elephant tour. I must say the journey there is quite far by bus, recommended to go by plane. The pricing of the resort is quite steep but is worth the escape from the urban high rise and noisy streets.

I will go back there again
by K. from Thailand, 20 May 08
Excellent and Supurbbbbbb Services.
Room was so clean plus huge bathroom.
You can't get enough of their services.
I like everything except kid room. The room is not so clean. Toys themselves are great, just the room itself that need to be improved.
