Great for a quiet vacation.

Booked the room through AtSiam.com and was pleasantly surprise as I was a bit hesitant to book with an online hotel reservation site. Great value for a quiet vacation on a secluded beach - almost on the southern tip of Koh Chang.

A bit difficult to get around from the resort despite the ""two-row"" trucks servicing travellers going up and down the island. If you are looking to stay closer to shops and other recreation, stay on White Sand beach or closer to the northern part of Koh Chang. Sea View and Koh Chang Cliff resorts looked good.

Overall Bhumiyama was pleasant - great staff, nice amenities. The hotel offers DVDs to borrow for their in-room DVD players as the satellite TV consisted of mainly news, spots and 1 Asian (possibly Japanese) channel. 2 restaurants located a short beach walk away as well as a used book store/internet cafe.

Very nice

The resort is very 'low key' and well suited to couples, rather than families. The grounds and rooms are spotless and it has a great location on Lonely Beach, which in my opinion is the nicest beach on Koh Chang. The breakfast was a little disappointing, but the restaurant next door to the hotel was fantastic.
