Koh Chang Kacha Resort & Spa Reviews & Ratings

We stayed in superior villa and were very happy with our choice, though we initially tried to get a deluxe room or villa, but they were all full. The room was quite small, but it was clean and had everything we needed, after all you don't spend so much time indoors in a place like this.

The only problem was the guests upstairs. It seems that the sound isolation between the floors is very poor as we could hear every step from upstairs.

The area is beautiful and the pool area by the sea is fantastic. It seemed to be the best on that beach, at least what we saw when walking around. Whatever time we came to the pool, we found vacant beach chairs and it was very easy also to get to the beach and the sea.

Breakfast buffet was good. In the evenings the main reason for not dining at the restaurant was the band playing old covers far too loud. I just wonder who really needs that music when dining, especially as it was too loud for having normal conversation. Also the menu seemed to be too much like standard hotel stuff, instead of concentrating on good fresh Thai food.

Overall experience was very positive, next time on Koh Chang, will definitely return!
