The name says it all...

The Koh Chang Paradise Resort is a gorgeous place and so worth the money! The beach is clean and the horizon pool is very luxurious. Our bungalow had a nice view of the water and was very clean and appealing. The bathroom had a tub and a separate shower which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and the TV had lots of channels.

Across the street was a small plaza with a few good restaurants, massage places and motorbike rentals. We rented two bikes and motored all around the island...it was a lot of fun! There was so much more we could have done (snorkeling, diving, jungle trekking...), but we didn't have enough time. We did manage to have dinner on the beach at the hotel. They offered freshly caught shark, red snapper and huge shrimps ready for the grill. It was lovely. It was a peaceful, yet exciting place to stay and I highly recommend it. I can't wait to go back!

Holidays

Just got back and we would book in here again, must be one of the best hotels on the island. Everything was just as you would expect from a high priced hotel. Best of all it was very quiet at night, not to everyone liking but for us (50+) it was great.

Will certainly return

Really good hotel with good facilities. Location may be a problem if you don't have your own transport, since the adjacent bay has the restaurants and bars. However I cannot fault the hotel. I stayed in one of the beachfront chalets - brick built European style, not a wooden hut - big and clean, separate shower and bath and just yards from the beach. Nice pool with "wet bar" good restaurant and buffet breakfast. I shall certainly be returning to this resort.

Heavy rain

As arrived yesterday, they gave me the last bungalow in the row, at the end of the hotel area. Many, many others in the same category are free ! Because there are app. 5% booked.

Last night we had heavy rain and in the nighttime (2:00 am) came water in the room, dropping on the desk and make some personal belongings wet. This morning came a service to fix this (or not ). We will see what is happened by the next rain. The staff at the front desk react very unprofessional and boring.

Nice place at OK price!

Very nice location on the beach and at the end of the beach. The pool is amazing and feels clean next to the beach. Rooms nice looking but a bit old especially the bathrooms could use a bit of freshing up but in general clean. Breakfast OK not the best but has the essentials.

Recommend to visit

Quite good resort to recover. Big beds also TV not bad. Not easy to reach the resort - we came by car, so it was OK. Swimming both in the ocean or swimming pool. In the morning hours, go swimming where is no shadow - otherwise nice jelly fish will bite you.

There are small islands around where you can book a day trip. Then you can snorkel around these small islands - so small they are.

Enjoyable stay

We are a family of four and stayed at Paradise Resort Dec 19-31 2006. It was an enjoyable stay. Very good service, kind staff. Excellent location at beach, Bungalows surrounded by a beautiful garden. The rooms were large and clean. Beds perhaps little bit hard if you are used to soft ones. Large breakfast buffet with Asian, American, English and Continental breakfast stuff. The only thing we missed was cheese.

The hotel restaurant was good, but 30-40% more expensive than the restaurants on the beach. There are enough restaurants to choose of, our favorite was "Palm Beach" couple of hundreds meters south of the hotel.

There is not much to do after 10 pm at Klong Prao Beach, but you can take a "soeng taew" to all the bars on White Sand Beach. Regardless that even our teen kids (13 and 16) preferred Klong Prao and we would all warmly recommend Paradise Resort.

We can't go back again!

This is my 3rd time to be there but everything has changed. We have to wait 1.30 hours for making the room, waste the time. We came before another guest but they making the room for another guest before us.

Is it because we paid 100% to them already? Staff was very bad, not polite, unhelpful and too many gossip. Very disappointed.

Beautiful location

A really nice, friendly, family resort. We visited off season and stayed in beach front bungalows. Kids had a great time. Only negative point was poor evening meal - overpriced for the quality - my curry was out of a packet. Muck better places elsewhere. That aside, breakfasts were fine and staff very helpful.

We can't wait to go back

THE PLACE REALLY SUITED US. Family with teenage children. Beautiful and quiet. Good beach with lively places to eat on the beach.The only thing that bothered me a tiny bit were a few ants in the room. But the room was good and comfortable.
