A feel good place with good energy

Al's Hut is a beautiful place, it's in the heart of the action and at the same time away from it. The minute you walk out of the small lane, the action hits you bars, food joints, shopping, travel agents, money changers, massage parlors, et all & the minute you get into the lane you get away from the action & into this lovely quiet & cozy atmosphere.

The staff is very helpful & the rooms are actually 30 seconds away from the beach. The breakfast that is included with the tariff could get better though. Over all a lovely place & great people. Will surely live there again.

Would go back

Really enjoyed our time there. The beach, however was not as expected because we had to walk to other side to swim but all in all, a nice little resort.

The staff could be a little more friendly e.g good morning.

It's a very nice resort. We are staying at Al's Hut Resort for the whole period of holiday in Samui. That means until the 28th of July, it's really worth it, the bungalows are very clean and the staff is very nice...

I will probably move to higher standards next time.

I liked the seriousness in airport picking up, kindness in reception and restaurant and location also very convenient for restaurants, shops, bars, money exchange, etc.

I did not like the beach right in front of hotel, I had to go several resorts down the beach to have a good bath, and bathroom facilities, fridge, or Tv channels could be improved as well as a place to leave your things in the room. But in general, considering the price, you could not ask for more.

Cute, clean Bungalows at the most popular beach on Koh Samui

We really enjoyed our four days at Al's Hut Resort. Even though, the bungalow was a bit small, it was really clean, cute and nicely decorated. Every day our mini bar was refilled, the bed made up and the bath room got cleaned. They also had lots of international TV senders.

The location of the hotel is great: it is right at Chaweng beach, the most popular one on Koh Samui. Besides that, the staff at the massage center is friendly and professional. The breakfast was ok. Even though it is not really possible to swim at the beach next to the hotel, one can walk down the beach for just about 10 minutes and the water is deeper there.

Good place to stay in for low budget backpackers

Nice place to stay in if you have a low budget, it's basically for backpackers.
The room was not well lit up and they could do more to improve the breakfast buffet...same choices every day.

The resort was located in a nice quiet area but was not too far from the night life.

Absolutely a great place to stay on Chaweng

Al's Hut was a great place to stay on Koh Samui. I was travelling in a group of 3 couples and we all fell in love with those cute and clean bungalows at the first sight.

The location of the hotel was very central but still it was very quiet around despite a few nightly fireworks that we heard during our 10 day stay. The beach in front was not the best but not the worst either but by walking a few minutes you could find great spots to swim and sunbath.

The service at Al's Hut was very good and massages were amazing. The only downside was that the breakfast was not that vast. However, it made your day start well anyways.

Thanks a lot for everyone at Al's Hut, we will definitely return!

It was alright!

Great location with nice little hut. Overall cleanliness of the place can be improved.

The room has very limited space. However, if you are not going to stay in the room most of the time, it is alright!

Niice place

This is a very nice place. The staff were very friendly and did all to please us. We will certainly come back again. The rooms very very nice and the garden very peaceful.

Not recommended

The staff was very friendly, location central... and that's all I liked about Al's Hut.

The resort is located on the thinniest and most crowded part of the Chaweng beach in the lagoon area, where water is not very clean. The bungalow was very small and uncomfortable, no place to put your bag. Air condition made us sick. The room was dirty, sheets had cigarette holes. There is about 12 flights a day from Samui to Bangkok daily and you can hear all of them taking off from 7am till just above your head.

I've spent 6 weeks in Thailand, stayed in many resorts and this one was the worst of all of them.
