Looking forward to next newyear on the beach

Me, my hubby and 3 kids stayed in a sea-view villa and it was brilliant, clean sheets and towels everyday. Excellent location 3 metres from the fine white sand, the pool was outside the villa door! What more could you want? Super-nanny wouldn't of gone a miss for the kids! Breakfast lots of choice, spa was great as well, all in all a fabulous holiday had by us all.

Great Place !!

Place looks exactly like the pics posted on this page and even better. Great location. Right on the beach. Close to a lot of good party places. Supermarket and Bike Rentals are right outside the resort entrance. Massage Parlour associated with the hotel is a must-visit-everyday place. Swimming pool overlooks the sea.
I enjoyed the breakfast spread but not everybody in my group shared the liking. Seafood at the attached restaurant is worth a try.
No point in paying extra for the Deluxe Sea view.

Good resort

Location is good: Chaweng center, and close to Tops (a very good supermarket, much larger and cheaper than 7/11). Appreciated by the special arranged heart-shaped rose petal ring for our honeymoon.

My next stay will still be Al's.

We stayed there for more than 4 nights, it's so far the best location i have ever stayed in Samui. Beach is great with white sand and pool is excellent. Breakfast is rich. It doesn't have a big lobby, so it's a very comfortable resort, by the way, who will need a big lobby near the beach, the price will go up with those useless fancy lobbies.

Definitely would stay again

Great location!!! Just a short walk to the nightlife, but amazingly quiet at night which you don't normally get both! There’s a supermarket close by which is very handy too. The rooms were very modern we stayed in a beach view room as the garden view were fully booked, both rooms are exactly the same your just a bit near to the beach so I would save your money and just go for the garden view! But I must say the Villa Suites looked very nice if you want a nice treat!
Breakfast was good lots of variety and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay their again.

Pleasant Stay!

Our stay at al's resort was excellent! The service was great and the food was delicious! However, the breakfast is just average. It is perfectly located in the middle of everything on Chaweng - not too far from great restaurants and bars.
The pool is also facing the beautiful beach!! We stayed in garden view room which was nicely decorated and very comfortable. I highly recommend al's resort as we will definitely stay there again!

A perfect vacation!

Overall it was great! We chose Al's Resort for its location (just a few minutes walk from all the nightlife, a 30-second walk from one of the main grocery stores, and essentially its smack in the middle of Chaweng Beach).
We were completely charmed by its rooms when we arrived. Clean, simple rooms, smiling service, and of course, a fabulous beach and pool made our trip fantastic.
A few points to be wary of though... Little English is spoken at Al's, making it a little bit harder to communicate what you want (but they did make every effort to understand). They also seem to run out of beach towels before the sun is fully up. And when you're lucky enough to get a towel, you realise it's hardly in a shape to be used (full of holes). But that shouldn't stop anyone from staying at this gorgeous resort. Just buy a towel if you need to, or ask housekeeping for extras.

Would definately book AL's Resort again if we come back to Koh Samui

We Stayed in the Garden View rooms which were more than adequate, OK some more drawers would be nice and the shower fitting left a little to be desired but apart from those minor gripes the rooms were fine. Perfect Location, right on the lovely sandy beach but back from the main road so away from any noise. The sunbeds on the beach and by the pool need renovating. Overall we had a great time.

GOOD BUT READ FIRST

Nice hotel in very convenient location on the beach, with nice swimming pool. But but but!!! do not reserve the Deluxe Sea View room. Do not!! why? because there isn't room like that. The hotel takes money for sea view but the window turn to the garden!!! no sea view!!!
When i asked the reception clerk why they do that she answered: my manager decided that rooms 101-105 is sea view! When we asked to get refund and pay only for Deluxe Garden View she said: you can leave!
Except that the hotel is very nice. Just don't pay extra money for something you will not get value for!

Nice stay

Very nice resort in very convenient location. Rooms could be little bit more clean but it wasn't so bad. Breakfast - the best in Koh Samui. I've been staying in so many resorts in Samui before and definitely can say that breakfast is absolutely great in Al's Resort. Good value for money.
