Powder white sands are only a few footsteps away
by Debi Farrell from Scotland UK, 30 Jul 05
We have visited Koh Samui many times now, opting to stay @ the Banana Fan about 4 times now. We choose the beach front villas, SUPERB quality accommodation, good value for money. The villas have recently been refurbish. and you are only a few footsteps away from the powdery white sands of Chaweng beach..... would have no trouble in recommending this resort to anyone, people on a budget can still enjoy the superb resort with one of the other superior rooms .

Great hotel and holiday!
by Carlo Cucchi from Wirral, England, 12 Aug 05
I loved my stay at this hotel. I'm well traveled and have stayed at many hotels around the world and I would rate Banana Fan Sea highly. Its in prime location amongst the shops and restaurants, but if you want to spend your nights relaxing in the hotel grounds you can do so very peacefully as the hotel is set back from the road. It is situated on Chaweng beach, which is very nice, and very romantic at night and a short evening stroll down the beach you will find very nice hotel restaurants which are lovely to dine in near to the sea.
I ate breakfast and lunch in the hotel, I generally prefer to dine out of an evening. But from what i experienced, the cuisine seemed to be exceptional, and extremely cheap. One of my favorite meals only cost 100Baht!
The hotel staff are fantastic, always smiling and willing to help with any problems you may have. I cant fault the hotel. I had a superb holiday and would definitely return!

Excellent value for money.
by Faz from Dubai UAE, 8 Jan 07
Really nice and cozy resort at the more quieter end of Chaweng Beach. Plenty of restaurants and shops withing walking distance. The beach is clean and the restaurant serves excellent Thai food. Theres a small tourist office tucked away behind the restaurant on the beach. Nice deals on tour packages. The rooms are clean but with basic amenities.

Very good value for money
by Sujala Kapur from India, 3 Jul 08
We were 7 adults so we had booked 3 double rooms with 1 extra bed. The bedrooms with double bed were very spacious and nice. There was really nothing which I can point a finger to describe as "dislike about the place".
The pool is good, staff helpful, lady at the travel desk very cordial, food was better than expected, beach and facilities very nice, location also very good. The only problem we had was that our 3 rooms were not next to each other. But then I am sure the hotel staff tried but because of limitations it might not have been possible. Overall if I go to Samui - I will go to Banana Fan Sea.
