Summer Oasis
by Charles Snodgrass from Georgetown, KY, 1 Jul 06
No one came for the evening meal so we should have taken a hint but thought we would try it anyway, boy were we disappointed.
All in all the resort was a very enjoyable experience.

Fantastic stay at the Bandara
by Phil from London, England, 12 Aug 05
Unlike many hotels we have stayed in, there was no morning rush for sunbeds and no sense of overcrowding even when the hotel filled up towards the end of our stay.
Location was good, we managed to walk into Fisherman's village most evenings which has some great restaurants at reasonable prices.
Bophut is much quieter than Chaweng for instance but we preferred it that way, anyway taxis are very cheap so access is easy if you want to have more nightlife.

A little piece of heaven
by Pauline Chipp from Norwich, England, 15 Sep 05
From the moment we arrived in the resort we were made to feel the most important guests in the hotel, nothing was too much trouble and the staff were attentive and courteous. Great attention is given to detail everywhere in the resort. The facilities are everything you would hope for in an 5 star resort. Well done in creating this new resort. Can't wait to go back again.

Very very good place to stay on Koh Samui
by Englebretsen Family from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, 5 Nov 05
Staff here are fantastic, unobtrusively always helpful and genuinely proud of their resort. The pools are great - 3 main and one kiddies, breakfast (included in the rate) a highlight of the day, lunch by the ocean a delight. Away from the "rush" of the main downtown area, we found it a convenient base. Great walking beach, no crowds like some others. Essential supplies can be had from a small adjacent village that includes a few knick-knack shops. This was a great family holiday location for 6 nights.
Overall, can't fault it.

Did not disappoint!
by Carol Clement from NSW Australia, 14 Aug 07
We originally tried to book our rooms at Zarzen but they were unable to accommodate us. Our next choice was Bandara and we were thrilled with the result. We walked the beach and concluded that we had excellent accommodation at Bandara and were glad we ended up there. It presents as a well maintained and very attractive resort set in beautiful gardens and impresses from the time of arrival with a very warm welcome from attentive staff.
Our party consisted of ourselves in one room and our 21 yo daughter and her girlfriend in another. Bandara was sufficiently big enough to offer lots of choice for lazing around – bars, pools, beach, without being oversized.
The staff was very professional and attentive and the breakfasts were exceptional in quality and variety. Chef Kit’s smile is infectious and his personal interest in our presence was very well received. We wondered when booking, if the rooms would lack character – the answer is no. The beds were comfortable and I think attention to detail is what made our stay very enjoyable. There was free internet to make contact back home as well as a gym and a library etc. At night we enjoyed listening to the sounds of the very personable Myra and her partner as they serenaded the bar. Our daughter enjoyed the Bandara as much as we did and we would thoroughly recommend it to all.
Being Aussies we are spoilt with our excellent beaches - Bophut beach is quite nice although there was a slimy feel to the sand under the water - didn't like to know why but made sure we didn't swallow any water. We were there for 3 days and the pools were so attractive that we spent our time between them instead.
We would definitely return should we have an opportunity and I was very pleased with the ease of booking through AtSiam. In a nutshell 10 out of 10 Bandara and thanks for a great stay!
