Stairway to the pool....

“We stayed in a bungalow during the full moon party for 5 nights. This place was on the hill about 5 minutes drive away from Haad Rin. You could walk into town in about 20 minutes, but the road was dangerous to walk on and was a big hill, so via the beach was the best alternative. The resort were happy to drive you in for a small fee.
The breakfast could have had more choice (I'm not a big egg eater), but the staff were very friendly and helpful. I suspect the menu will broaden after enough requests for pancakes.
The rooms were typical of a Koh Phangan resort of this price. Fairly basic, but well decorated. The air con worked well. The views were spectacular! All rooms had balconies and views over the ocean to Samui and you could watch all the full mooners coming across on the speed boats.
The pool was great too but the beach was very average. Not swimmable and lots of washed up stuff. The hike from the pool to the reception area was quite a steep climb. Lots of steps!
Nice place, but I think its too far from the town for me and the climbing in the heat was annoying. If you want somewhere hidden away a bit, give it a try.”
