“Central Samui Beach Resort has everything I expect to get for this money. I moved there after week in Coral Bay Resort.
We had a quiet, well-positioned room with a view of the garden and beach, but the bungalow on Coral Bay Resort was better from my point of view (bigger and more convenient). The hotel's facilities very good: nice swimming pools, lovely restaurants, good fitness centre, library etc (unlike Coral Bay Resort which has not to much to do inside the hotel except swimming and eating).
Beautiful landscaped gardens and nice looking halls of the hotel. Live music and karaoke, performances and shows. It has all which distinguish the 5-star hotels from others. Breakfast was fine but I have seen better before in other luxurious hotels if we measure Central Samui Beach Resort with 5-star scale.
The staff were very friendly and always helpful and the hotel is in the best position on Chaweng Beach, where the sand is powdery soft and the water is a glistening, clear emerald. Beach was really excellent (much better then on Coral Bay Resort). Main discos, bars, shops and restaurants very close, but inside the hotel was quiet.
What I did not like:
Room might be bigger and it has strange solution – thin wooden shutter between room and bathroom and in the room you can hear almost every sound from bathroom. Not very good if you share the room with somebody (I had Deluxe Ocean Facing TWN) and it’s all I can say from disadvantages. ”
