• Tao Island or Turtle Island : Just a 2 hour boat ride north of Koh Samui. This is the best site for snorkeling & diving. The water is remarkably clear and the marine life spectacular, with seasonal visits from such rare species as whale sharks and giant mantas. The island itself is one of the most beautiful in the Samui archipelago.
• Nang Yuan Island: This unique island, with its triple-connecting beach, is just a short boat ride of Koh Tao. A perfect place for a day of snorkeling or just to chill out on the beach.
• Hin Ta - Hin Yai or “The Grandfather Rock” and “Grandmother Rock” have been shaped over millions of years by wind and water to resemble human sex organs. A local story tells of an old couple whose ship was wrecked in the bay. Their bodies were washed ashore to create the rocks.
• Phra Borom That Chaiya : It’s a Must-Visit place in Surat Thani Province. This is an ancient Pagoda housing Lord Buddha relics which is believed to have been built more than 1200 years . Along the courtyard of the Pagoda are several sculptures and Buddha images.
• Pha Ngan Island : A smaller Island , which is located in the North of Samui Island. The majority of this island is mountains covered by tropical jungle. Phangan Island was one of the most popular hideaways for backpackers in Asia. It is still "less exploited" than Samui Island and some beaches are almost "empty" in low season. This is still a place where you can find a peaceful holiday with a book in a hammock in a very easy going bamboo resort. But, on the night of each full moon, Party Lovers can’t miss it, the very famous “Full Moon Party”
• Rin Beach (Had Rin) : Had Rin consists of two beaches (Had Rin Nok and Had Rin Nai). It is the most popular beach on Pha Ngan , especially for the famous Full Moon Party.
• Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park : Heading west approximately 90 minutes by boat from Samui Island, you will find this group of islands. Quiet beaches and a wild jungle make the park one of Surat Thani's greatest attractions. On the park main island, Ko Wua Talap, you will find the highest top in the area with the 430 meter height. It takes about an hour walk to the view point. Most popular activities here are Kayaking, snorkeling and visiting the hidden lagoon.
• The Big Buddha : This monumental landmark is located on the island’s Northern shore. The Big Buddha sitting 12 meters tall was built in 1972 by the local society to give visitors a place to pay respect to The Lord Buddha.
