Almost perfect......
by igal from tel aviv, Israel, 27 Apr 08
Almost everything was perfect. We did not like the daily debit for mineral water. 2 bottles should be daily free, but since we ordered it from service staff instead from reception, we were debited for 3.5$ per bottle (2 rooms 2 bottles per room everyday day) It's not "financial loss" that disturbed us, but the fact reception people know the problem, cannot solve it and do not enable you to talk to higher rank manager. It's really a pity because it left us with bad taste.

Cant wait to go back to PHUKET
by Pete from New Zealand, 24 Jan 08
I stayed at this resort in June 07. I found the staff friendly, but maybe my expectations of Koh Samui where to much (compared to Phuket, much better value).
I found the rooms all had balcony's, but you looked into each others rooms, across and besides you, (no wall between rooms on balcony, no privacy. The rooms where very dated and 60s to 70s standards.
And far overpriced for the standard offered .. 1 to 2 star ... The pool area was nice but small and crowded, and the beach for all hotels along here is a real let down, it is so shallow and you have to walk out so far to even find deep enough water to lay in to cool of or enjoy a swim.
Was a long way to walk to town and town was uninspiring.
Airport was a disappointment. We arrived from Singapore and had to wait to get a visa processed. We where at the front of the cue, but they made us wait until the whole plane had been processed (about an hour) before they processed the visa people, and you had to sit out in the heat (not even an aircon room to sit in after the cool plane.)
I have traveled all over the world to tropical places, Egypt, Turkey, Greek islands, Malaysia, Phuket, Cook Islands (the greatest place on earth ) ... Tahiti, Fiji but Koh Samui was a real let down.

Will definitely return
by Anonymous user from AUSTRALIA, 20 Jul 06
A smaller hotel (about 80 rooms), north of the main shopping/restaurant/bar areas. Very friendly staff who always have a smile on their face and restaurant has fantastic view. Deluxe villas are large and tastefully decorated. Great value for money.
