Excellent service from the staff at the hotel, at any time. And they were very friendly, to all, despite how difficult the quest’s was.
Very good food.
Close to the beach, with always available sun beds. And you could go 10 meters, have I nice lunch, and return to your sun bed.

Excellent Hotel

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly, great pool just off the beach, food lovely, room service highly recommended, great location, one of the more pricey hotels in Chaweng but fantastic value for money, will definitely be visiting again next May.

Never again!!!!

This hotel was a very disappointing end to a fantastic 3 week trip around Thailand. On entering the hotel I was gutted, when I seen the room, I cried!! We booked to stay in the ocean wing, when we arrived we were told we were to stay on the lake wing (the lake looked more like a dirty pond, and there was another two properties between the room and the lake, some view!)
We had to pay another 3,000 Baht to move to a half decent room, well at least one that didn't smell like an OAP's home with the decor of butlins 20 years ago. Samui was lovely, but to be honest the Chaba needs knocking down.
So not be fooled by photos in brochures like we were! Extremely dissapionted.

We are going back!!

We loved this resort, have stayed twice and intend returning next month. The staff are soooooo friendly and helpful, breakfast is amazing, the beach and pool are great. The pool is ideal for thoses with hip problems or disabilities as it is very easy to get in and out of at the shallow end by the paddling pool as there is a fence/barrier between the two pools and it is very handy to help with balance, stepping out and rising out of the water.
Foreign exchange over the road as well as an internet cafe, laundry, and supermarket so the location is perfect. Numerous restaurants are just out the gate.
Some of the staff have remembered us each visit and enquire after our family and call us 'Mama' and 'Papa', making Chaba Samui a home away from home.

We're Going Back (Part Two!)

Forgot to mention that the Chaba has two accommodation blocks divided by a busy, narrow road with a security guard to stop the traffic and assist with getting from one part of the resort to the other. The Lake wing has reception, bar, coffee shop, one of the massage areas, lounge, rooftop pool etc but we always book the Ocean Wing for the convenience of the breakfast/dining room, the more easily accessible pool just a stone's throw from the beach so we can watch all the activities on the beach (and buy a pineapple for lunch!), the pool bar and beach bar and last but not least we love the Ocean Wing as the rooms have private balconies and the Lake wing has none.

A paradise

Alex and me have decided to visit Thailand, Koh Samui in order to fulfill one of our dreams. We arrived in December 20th 2004, we booked the hotel via our travel agency in Corfu Greece and recommendations were excellent, and it truly was!!!
We enjoyed every minute of our stay in the hotel and in the area. People and staff were friendly and polite and always willing to help, with a smile!! An unforgettable experience for both of us. We will never forget it.
We definitely recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit Koh Samui. We are going back again definitely.!!

We have stayed at the Chaba five times and have always been well looked after. Cannot fault any of the staff they always remember us (we are the daft ones who feed linda )!!!!
The rooms are always immaculate. It is a great location, right on the beach
shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

Me and my family just got home from two wonderful weeks at this hotel. We are most satisfied. Good service and very nice staff with a smile on there faces all the time. This is really a paradise. Thank you!!
