Family friendly
by Anonymous User from victoria, Australia, 13 Sep 07
Lovely family room right on beach. Great staff, very helpful. Family friendly. Had small problem with leaking basin and came straight away to fix. Beach a bit rocky and not good for swimming, but has great pool so don't need to swim in the sea. Good breakfast. I recommend it.

A pleasure to stay

Very clean. Staff in reception area speak quite good English. The bungalow is new and clean couldn't be better. The swimming pool's temperature is just perfect not too cold not too warm. Very good for the price. Will certainly go back.

Nice and cheap place
by Mirjam and Stephan from Zurich, Switzerland, 20 Jun 06
We started our 3-week-vacation at the "Mango Village". We spent 6 nights there. The apartments are small, but clean. Room design could be nicer, but it was very OK for the price. The bathroom doesn't look to good, but it was clean as well.
We spent every night on our veranda, drinking something, reading or listening to music. We also watched our male tourist-neighbors arriving with their "bought dates". This was always very funny. :-)
Very helpful staff (we had problems with our safe), good food at the restaurant (we tried Italian pasta and the Sandwiches). I really recommend the place for families - it has a nice pool and a small beach. The beach is not so beautiful but you can rent a bike at the reception for only 200 Baht a day.
You get to the Lamai Beach in about 5 minutes, many restaurants and shops there. I really recommend shopping there; its cheaper than in Chaweng! The best restaurant we ate in during our stay at koh Samui was the "Bauhaus"; the food is very good and cheap. We ate almost every night there (from Thai food 'til steaks;-)). You really have to go there. We liked Lamai the most.
