You get what you want. Sandy Resort and Spa is at the N.W. end of Bo Phut beach, and that's just the way we like it. Away from the tourist center of Koh Samui, you need to rent a bike for transportation but you have all the shops, restaurants etc within easy reach. Even the Fishermans Pier is just down the beach. Around the corner are even more isolated beaches. The service is great, the rooms clean (try the beach bungalows), the restaurant surprisingly good. Next door may have the shows, but for half the price, stay at home and have a romantic walk down the beach afterwards.
