Sans Souci Samui

A great basic room. Clean comfortable for the price. The beach is nice. Staff is nice. Nice view. It can't compare to to upscale resorts that cost around $100 night but you get what you pay for. We got our room for about $40 a night. One thing that is nice is that it is at the south end of the beach so if you have a vehicle you don't have to wade through piles of traffic that you find near the central part of the beach.

It was fairly distant from any girlie bars so if you are not into that scene or have kids it's not too bad. We stayed June of 2004. Weather was nice. Not much rain at all.

We discovered Sans Souci in the mid 90's and have been regular guests ever since, often staying for months at a time. The location, beach and most of all, the staff, make for a perfect place to enjoy all that Samui offers. Do yourself a huge favour and reserve your beachfront room now!! Quite simply, ""the best little hotel on the Island"". We now live here year round and visit Sans Souci regularly for lunches and ice cold beers and the best beach lounging available on the island.
