Seascape Beach Resort Koh Samui Reviews & Ratings

The hotel is situated at the beautiful Chaweng beach, great! We had very clean en big room, but it was not the cheapest one. The cheapest room (like a bungalow) was not that nice, so we changed and had a room like a dance floor!

The staff is nice, but sometimes their English is not very good. The breakfast was OK, but simple. The centre from Chaweng beach is a little bit far to walk, but you can take a cheap taxi if you want.

The location of Seascape is South of the main Chaweng strip, but that was OK because there were plenty of good restaurants and other services nearby.

Seascape doesn't appear to take much interest in operating their restaurants, their prices are clearly above local benchmarks and guests at Seascape were voting with their feet. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. Mock orange juice was the usual cordial.

Worst point of the place was the design of the bathroom. I was in the main block, not a cottage or villa. While the room was fine and spacious the shower was in the bath and the bath was raised so that water hitting the side and rear walls ran on to the floor via channels between bath edge and wall. This made for an unavoidable flood whenever the shower was used, simply an inept design which looked good as long as no water flowed. The main block rooms were much better than the villas.

Nice place to stay. Deluxe room with seaview was nice. May be a little expensive for the service...

On arrival, girl at the reception desk was not very helpful and smiley. But the hotel is clean and well located, beach is very beautiful.
