The location of Aonang Villa Resort is probably the best in Ao Nang, 50 meters from the beach.Two very nice swimming pools. The food was very good. Big and clean rooms.What surprised us was the quiet beach in the low season! If we ever come back to Ao Nang, this is the hotel for us.

Ao Nang Villa is a wonderful resort with helpful, friendly staff and great facilities. The restaurants, service and food are brilliant. The swimming pools are cool and clean, the resort is only about 2 minutes walk along the beach front to every other facility one needs. I am confined to a wheelchair most of the time, but can't think of a better place to be in. We had an absolutely wonderful 10 days at the Ao Nang Villa thanks to everyone. we will, if we can, go back there !!!!!

Ao Nang Villa is old and not worth the value paid for when you compare with other newer Krabi resorts. If you are looking for service, this hotel is NOT it. Being used to rough budget rooming, we are typically easy travelers. But this time we chose to pay a little more premium by choosing to stay in this hotel and we were shocked at their level of service. We were checking into our room with the porter carrying our luggages, when suddenly it rained heavily and we were stuck halfway, as the stairs and walkway leading to our rooms were unsheltered. The rain didn't stop so I told him to leave the luggages on the floor. So he did, and then left us there on the spot. Oh..ok, so now what? Carrying our luggages, we used pool towels to cover ourselves as we ran in the rain to our rooms. Yeah, for our fun, I know there could have been one happy hotel staff getting a nice tip for being so sweet to go get us some umbrellas. And the housekeeping came and went without replenishing our clearly empty bottles of toiletries.

Finally on check out, upon verifying with housekeeping there is no incidental mini-bar consumable to charge, the receptionist looked up to me with a straight-faced and said 'I can go now'. Yeah you bet I was relieved. But you know saying a little thank you for choosing to stay in this hotel will be nice a way to send me away.

On the better side of things, the room is spacious and clean, and the superior room seaview has a awesome view of a cliff. The pool is nice, but not great. Ao Nang Villa is centrally located in Ao Nang strip and the beach is a couple of metres from the hotel back entrance but you have to cross a small alley road to get to the beach. The beach at the hotel is located close to where the long tail boats beaches, so there are sea traffic and noise. Ao Nang beach is not great. But the hotel location is very convenient, so you can easily get to the shopping and the restaurants along the Ao Nang strip simply by walking.

What a lovelly hotel but what happene to the bar? It was closed for renovation and the management did think to set up a tempory one else where. There was plenty of space and plenty of guests that would have enjoyed a drink after the bars and restaurant closed at 10pm!!! Lets give them a break it was low season. We visited the spa and the staff there were lovelly. The hotel was a short walk to shops and restaurants and i highly recommend 'The Roof ' restaurant the food was so delicious and great value for money.

Everything bout this hotel is excellent. I really love this hotel that every time I'm at Krabi or Ao Nang, I'll make sure I'll go back there even if I'm not staying there, I'll go there specially for their delicious breakfast buffet.

Location- very good, just next to the shore. Very near shops also.

Food - very yummy a lot of choices. Just the cornflakes, they have like 5 diff ones. Went there for breakfast even when I'm staying at the other end of Ao nang.

Service- they don't speak good Englisher but can see they try very very hard to communicate with us.

Rooms- Very spacious and clean neat look. love the little window in the toilet that opens to see the room perfect for couples. looks romantic.

Lobby- Love the lobby outlook very comfortable seats and very cosy and classy look and feel.

Price- Kinda high but i think its worth it just for the breakfast itself I think its very worth it...

I'm with the ozzie and swede I think the yank must have gone to another hotel. Loved it and will go back!!! Staff were helpful and always very happy to be of service, do they ever stop smiling?

Excellent location, beach is in front of the hotel. Many restaurants and travel agents around, and also supermarket. Don't need to worry about transportation too, many taxi is outside the hotel.

Comfortable rooms, but services just so so. Staff are friendly, but when we complain the water temperature of the shower but no one came to fix it.

Another incident was, as I cannot reach my travel agency in Krabi and try to phone their head office in Phuket, we go to front desk to ask for help, they made a phone call for us at front desk, I reach my Phuket agent and she tell me to go back to my room and she will ask Krabi agent to phone me immediately. Therefore I need to rush back to my room. Front desk staff did not allow us to go and ask us to pay the phone call immediately! Why can't they debt it to my room bill?

Also, beware of flies when having your breakfast, we need to finished our lunch very quick every morning to avoid those flies touch our meal. But, to be honest, their food is really excellent.

Excellent service, nice and helpful staf. Close to the beach. Comfortable living, nice pool areas. Very good value for money. Tasty breakfest with varius dishes, always fresh fruits. Highly recomendable. I would definitely choose this hotel
again.

The resort exceeded expectations as it is sometimes hard to get a good idea of what it can be like from a picture on the internet. The resort is right on the beach of the beautiful Andaman Sea. The room was very comfortable the only problem was that I had booked a double room but when we arrived it was a twin room, and as they did not have any double rooms available they put the beds together, no drama just made for an even bigger bed! I would make sure next time that they are clear on what type of room is needed.

Language was a bit of a problem with a only a small number of staff but we managed to overcome this. Overall the staff were very helpful and friendly and we felt that Aonang Villa Resort was the best we have stayed in so far in Thailand and it is very affordable.

Location is great for shopping and restaurants. Would definitely go back.

Price too high the price we paid. Got two small bed. Additional bed (mattress) had stains that made it disgusting. Picture in ad of pool out of proportion, it's not as big nor as blue as it appears. Great photographer though.

Almost all staffs seems unhappy. It's too bad they don't realize the beauty of the place.
