Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi Reviews & Ratings

We stayed there for two nights and it was close to being lost in paradise with all the modern amenities as the place is completely cut off from the rest of Krabi by huge sheer cliffs. Staff are very polite and gracious and nearly all can speak good English. So Beautiful that we would recommend for all esp. couples who want a getaway on a private beach and just laze and be pampered. Dinner by the Beach is recommended as you are alone with your loved one with the whole beach in front and no one else. Fantastic place to stay in. The room is special and fabulous with verandas on both sides and with the shutters up totally open to the sea and sea view. Food was great and delicious with so much to eat at Breakfast you won't feel hungry until dinner.

Only problem was no easy access to Aolang Beach and the outside shops, eateries and night entertainment except by half or hourly free boats. The floating jetty is a classic innovation and an experience when the waters were rough. They were completing the walkway over the hill and with that completed now access will be improved but again this is only for the young and the mobile. We had to walk on rocks to get to Aonang beach and got wet with the waves beating at us. Quite dangerous I must say. But with the completion of the well light walkway by now this would not pose problems.

Yes it is very pricey but for the money you pay you won't get the privacy, breathtaking backdrop of sheer limestone hills and the sheer beauty of this place anywhere else.
