Krabi Royal Hotel Reviews & Ratings

Nothing to boast about the rooms, we've ordered 2 connecting rooms for us and 3 children.

The hotel is old but have reasonable good restaurant, and staff who likes to entertain you with music and karaoke songs....

The staff are quite helpful. They are ready to ferry you to Krabi town if you will pay. Nothing much to do around the hotel but it's opposite the entrance to the Maritime and Spa hotel (you still need to travel almost 1 km before you reach the hotel).

This place is located a distance from the main town/Cha Fa Pier. You will need to take a Tuk Tuk for 10-15 Bht to get you there in 5 mins, so from that perspective, it will be better to find a hotel closer to the town center if you like the shopping at the night market. We killed a cockroach in the room. I have the impression the staffs are not trained to handle foreign tourist. They could not answer my simple question - 'How can I get to Ao Nang'. Anyway we flew in late into Krabi so we chose to stay a night in cheaper accomodation in Krabi town rather than spending more to stay at Ao Nang.

The staff was not friendly, on the menu there was an option of boiled eggs, I was served raw eggs and when I asked for them to be cooked for slightly longer, the staff was rude and abusive and I left the restaurant with an empty stomach.

The pool was a disgrace, I cleaned it my self to be able to swim. Would never go there again, plus was very expensive and they had hotels for half the price on the same road, which I found out after.
