Koh Lanta is situated in the southernmost district of Krabi Province, and is perhaps the most idyllic area available where you can still find peace and quiet.

Koh Lanta is actually made of two islands; Koh Lanta Noi and Koh Lanta Yai. Koh Lanta Noi is the smaller of the two islands and doesn't have tourist facilities. Visitors traveling by road from the main land pass through the smaller island on the way to resorts on Koh Lanta Yai.

Lanta Yai Island is approximately 27 km long by 12 km wide with more than 40 km of pristine coastline. The island itself has a wonderful assortment of exciting, unspoiled and exotic locations to visit and offers great white-sand beaches and unforgettable sunsets.

Layana Resort & Spa is located on the west coast of Koh Lanta, on white-sand Phra-Ae Beach (Long Beach).
