“We have always liked the look of the place, which is idyllic from the outside, so we decided to stay for 8 nights. On arrival we were given the wrong room, and the only other room we were offered was certainly not up to our standard, so we decided on the room initially given.

The room was in my view sub-standard and needed renovation quite urgently, with severe cracks in the walls, and the bathroom was not up to standard either. The bed was quite lumpy, and the bed linen was old and uncomfortable.

However staff were very courteous. Breakfast was quite good, and the breakfast restaurant had lovely views. Not what we expected for the price.”
