We luv Railay

The room is very clean and the breakfast is excellent - hot and yummy. Probably it was low season (early June) so the restaurant waitress will take orders first before serving the breakfast (not buffet style !). If you planned to go to Phi Phi Island you can just take the Aonang Princess ferry service from Railay itself and need not to go back to Aonang's pier. The costs of the ferry ticket is 360 baht per adult during low season.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Railay

Comfortable rooms, really friendly stuff, very good restaurant, beautiful garden and pool. Only 150 m walk to the beach. However, hotel is not directly located at the beach. Unfortunately very noisy generator in the backyard.

Not Exceptional, But Pretty Good.

My wife and I stayed here over Christmas and New Years and after staying at the Mountain View resort over on Tonsai for a week prior, (which had no warm water and was about what we paid for it at the time- 1200 baht vs. 4,000+ baht at the Railay Princess) we were very happy with the accommodations here at the Railay Princess.
Would we book here next time? No & Yes. We would stay here again as it was pretty good overall, but next time we would prefer to try another location on Railay just to mix things up and to be able to do a good comparison.

Beautiful area but disappointing

Hotel is new so the rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable. The disadvantages are the sound of the electric generator outside supplying electricity to the hotel which is very loud and continues all day long.
During our two night stay, the water stopped in our room one morning and a while later, dirty sewage water started coming out of the faucet. This continued throughout the morning. There is a also some construction going on nearby and construction material and garbage are strewn about and a faint smell of sewage in the air. These are problems throughout this area.
Railay itself is very beautiful so it is very unfortunate that more consideration is not given to the environment.

I wish i could visit twice a year!

Aftr a long trip in Thailand it was like a little piece of haven. I specially like the quiet and peacefully atmosphere. The room was large and clean and a nice view of the pool.

I will book again

Excellent value, when compared with alternatives. Nice pool and nice little bar. It suited my needs perfectly. My only dislike was the very noisy generator at the end of the hotel gardens. Sound treatment would make a big difference.
