Great value for money
by Gareth Lloyd from Adelaide, Australia, 27 Nov 06
For the price the Greenery Hotel was excellent value for money. Big room & clean. Some reviews said next door was a bit noisy but it was no problem. Will go back if staying in Krabi.

There's are nice and not-so-nice, anyway this is just a trip!
by Abraham Kelvin Lin from Singapore and USA, 12 Dec 06
The hotel is about 15-20 minutes from the Krabi Airport, and it's by a main road. It can be noisy at night from the vehicles on the road, but it's bearable. No beach seen, even though a brochure in the room boasts the beach is 5-min walk away... I drove so it's convenient for me to bring my children with me to the pier to take boats out to sea.
The hotel does not provide breakfast and it's okay because you can eat at food stalls next to the hotel or walk down the street to the Vogue Plaza shopping mall where you can eat at KFC, Swensen, Pizza Connection. Take note, room service is coordinate by hotel staff with the food stall next door because the hotel has no restaurant. While they may have a room service menu for you to place order, the staff actually goes over to the stall nearby to buy your food, unpack and put on plates with utensils before delivering to your room. You could be waiting for 30 minutes and if the food runs out, no body will tell you until you call the front desk
You can get internet access on the ground floor at about USD1 per hour, read email is okay but may be too slow to surf sites with graphics....
I like to clarify when I rate the hotel service as "Unhelpful". The receptionist and/or cashier could have been more helpful, responsive and tactful with receiving guests. In fact, the housekeeping staff is even more helpful then them. They're not ready to get you help to move your luggages. The hotel manager, Weelawan, is kind and understanding to extend my 2-hr late check-out without extra charge, otherwise we're pestered by the reception staff to check-out or pay an extra-day charge.
Overall, my impression of the hotel is clean, reasonably price for a 2-star hotel, easy access to shopping, food, travel agencies and pharmacy. If I come to Krabi town again, I will consider staying here and buy the things I need before heading to the seas.
I hope this is helpful information.

Great value, cozy place in krabi town
by carlo gonzalez from manila, philippines, 9 May 07
For an overnight stay in Krabi, it was great and relaxing. Sure there was a noisy bar beside it but you can sleep right through it. The staff are helpful and it is a mere minutes away from the market and the department store.

Just book it...
by Michelle Mc Donagh from Co. Kildare, Ireland, 19 Dec 07
This is a really nice hotel. Good value for nice big clean room with tiled floors and AC and TV. The location is fine although people told us it was far out so if you read this in a review don't believe it. It's 5 minutes walk to town and to the pier. Its very easy to get around with cheap pick up trucks running nearby all day to Ao Nang which is lovely. Highly recommend a day trip to Railay beach (easier and cheaper to get to from Ao Nang). There's a fab Italian restaurant recommended by the hotel!
The only bad things I could say was that the restaurant in the hotel is not to be relied on to eat in - really just for breakfast and even then not great although the rooms have fridges so easy to buy your own cereal and milk! The other is that the ceiling in our room badly needed to be painted which is a shame because the rest of the room was gleaming white. Rooms cleaned every day. Staff helpful and polite although some with only moderate English.
Overall we would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Budget choice!
by Niki, 25 Feb 08
If you are looking for clean and budget hotel, this might be fit to your selection! Clean room, king bed, cold and hot water.
Anyway, if you are getting old, don't select fl.4th since there is no elevator!
