Our Hotel and Bungalows are located directly at Ao nang Beach in Krabi, one of the most beautiful places in Thailand. In1987, the first time I came to Krabi and fell in love with the beautiful landscape along with my wife Anna. Since that time we are now married for 13 years and we have two children.

From a small bungalow resort for backpackers we have built a bigger resort and have raised the standard. In 1999 we built the upper hotel and the following year more bungalows and the swimming pool. In 2002 came the new building at the beach-promenade and in 2003 the new restaurant, Anna’s Place overlooks the beach.

Dining & Restaurants at Wanna's Place & Andaman Sunset Resort

In our restaurant, Wannas Place, from where you have a beautiful view to the islands of Ko Poda, we serve our guests typical dishes from Thailand and from Switzerland. During your holidays you have to try some national specialties, like coconut milk curry or a spicy beef salad. These and many more original Thai dishes you can order in our restaurant. If you prefer European food, we will serve you the original "Zurich Geschnetzeltes", Schnitzel with cream sauce and noodles or a veal sausage with "Rösti". Would you like a glass of good wine or a cold fresh drawn beer? Or do you prefer a fresh pressed fruit juice of melons, pineapples, mango or other exotic fruits? After all that you need a cup of coffee; we import our coffee from Europe and make it in a special coffee machine. Are you hungry now or how we say in Switzerland "gluschtig"?

Transportation to Wanna's Place & Andaman Sunset Resort

Krabi has its own international airport and can be reached easily from Bangkok or Singapore. For those who land in Phuket you can come to Krabi by taxi service or with the public bus to the bus station in Krabi. From the Krbi bus station, which is situated just out of Krabi, there are small mini buses driving to local villages and to Ao Nang.
