Pakchong Landmark Hotel Nakhon Ratchasima Reviews & Ratings

Landmark is situated approx. 3 km from PakChong - "group taxis" pass in daytime on the main road and for 10b you can hail a ride to town, or walk and experience the friendly locals. The hotel is undergoing restoration and the upstairs areas were off limits. Outside the grounds were in the process of being cleaned up too.The room was comfortable and clean but no satellite tv or programs in English. The pool was sparkling.

The main disadvantage was the minimal English at Reception and at breakfast where two very young males kept busy, watching Thai TV. 'Service' was a foreign word to them.

The day before we were leaving, we approached a 'new' female staff at breakfast, She was very willing and could speak enough English to assist us with bus info/trsp to Bangkok.. It was great, as we needed help with the practicalities..

It has potential - with training - The staff needs to build confidence and knowledge about service to understand what their jobs really are about in the tourism industry.
