Top of my list

Excellent hotel, great value for money, poolside area great to chill after a busy day or hectic night as this hotel is central to all activities, Would definitely stay here again on my next visit as the value for money is next to none....A+++....for the single male traveler, there are also no problems to accommodate additional friends if you book a double room.

Have booked again for christmas

This hotel is good value for money with a good choice of English or Thai breakfast very friendly staff, clean rooms, would have liked a bigger balcony great location, will definitely use again.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Areca and I can not fault the hotel. Nacy is a great manager and is ever helpful as are the staff at this great hotel. Very well priced and near everything that I want to do or go to. I will be staying again later this year.

Overall a good stay

This is a very good simple hotel with nice pool, nice staff, and clean comfortable rooms. Breakfast was okay. They do not charge a joiner-fee, but unregistered guests must be 20 yrs old or over. Never been at a hotel with this type of policy before.

Excellent breakfast, chancing every day. Good service and clean rooms. Equipment is really comfortable. Good location in the center with access to all points. Staff very friendly and helpful. I come back sure.

Friendly place

It is true that staff in this hotel are really friendly and helpful. Would like a more flexible check out policy (there are no late check outs). The rooms are fine for the price but they should change the carpets. 2 really nice swimming pools.

The internet is bad

There is not internet in room but you can bring your laptop for internet but the internet is near the reception and there is just 1 connection for 1 laptop but there is some computer but 10 minute is 10 bath.

GOOD VALUE! I will return again!

I think it is good value to stay here, A front desk is a bit dull with local ppl like me but I am sure if u r not Thai. They will treat you nicely.

Room is clean and good to stay.
Swimming Pool is great n clean.
ABF is just fine.
Good security.

Of course I will return again.

Great hotel, but beware!

Great hotel, with decent facilities and friendly staff. Good value, however there is major construction going on right behind and to the side of the hotel which will not complete for some time.

This is probably my tenth visit to Th Areca Lodge in Pattaya, and I have to say that every time I'm there they amaze as to how comfortable they make you feel. I wold fell guilty of staying at any other hotel in Pattaya.
