Pros:
Clean, quiet hotel well away from the madness of other areas of Pattaya. Reasonably priced with some decent bars and restaurants nearby. Family friendly caters for package tourists from places like Korea.

Cons:
Poor tv reception and well away from the beach. Excruciatingly slow Internet facilities.

It was a clean hotel and good accommodation for the price, it is a little ways away from the main night life, but close to the Big C shopping center and if you like golf there is a driving range right next store.

I stayed here in October 2005 with a group of friends and must say it was the best hotel we stayed in whilst in Pattaya. We did not book any accommodation in Pattaya before leaving Britain as we knew there would be a lot of availability and better prices when we got there and we were on a budget.

We stayed at a hotel (name I have forgotten) it was very nice but could only stay two nights as they had a huge group booking so we were asked to leave, we were absolutely gutted and didn't think we would find anywhere of as good quality for the price we were paying (1,200 Baht). The lady behind the reception found us another hotel (turned out to be JA Villa) and said they would only charge the same. To be honest we thought we were going to get fobbed off with something sub standard as we had had a bad experience a few nights before. So now I have given you the story I will cut to the chase we were so lucky to have found this place we would never have otherwise as the location is slightly off any main street, but however transport is only 2 Mins away so don't be put off.

This place is 5* for Thailand I have stayed in some cracking hotels in America and this was up with them. Most importantly very clean & no bugs (which was a relief - referring earlier to our bad experience).

The staff went out of their way especially the manager to help us and are very friendly, the food is good about an 8 out of 10 and room service very reasonably priced. I really can't rave about this place enough beautiful food in the outside bar with I expect a lot of people miss or are not willing to try - give it ago or you are really missing out.

But the best thing has to be the price as I said before 1,200 baht got you a suite which in the UK would have cost easily GBP150+ per night.

All I can say is give it a try and you will definitely not regret it, and I have already booked again for July next year. Can't wait.

Stayed at JA Villa in October with three friends ,my stay was fantastic , cleanness hotel I have stayed in whilst in Pattaya ,location was great not to close to the busy streets, but not to far to travel into town. All the staff (although don't speak the best English ) always there to help. Food was great Thai and western. I will stay at JA Villa again in July and would recommend it to anyone who visits Pattaya .
