DONT GO !!!!!!

by Martyn Jones from Uk-London, 9 Jun 07

Dislike the fact that these people never worked in tourism before 2 who in the right mind would put pictures of naked women in the reception area of a hotel with families and children there (this got me puzzled )? Pool way too small and noisy -theres a road NEXT to the pool pleaseeeee get this sorted how can u possibly rest in this being a tourist?

Last ....the front of the hotel ????empty condos and some already sold that belong to the gay community of Jomtien -most of them -the ones not sold are not painted, it was awful to wake up every morning to this -really bad ;-{ u just loose the holiday feeling.

Never go back

by STEPHEN CHETWYN from UK, 28 Apr 08

Stepped in the renovated couture rooms which are basically tiny box like rooms, no windows, no wardrobe just a bar to hang your clothes.

Shower is terrible if you use it for more than few minutes it floods the bathroom and you cannot use the bathroom for 24 hours ... safe in room but does not work. There is a nice bed, nice linen, but the bedrooms are the smallest I've ever been in.

I would not stop here again and also it is out of the main area for night life, and only way to get into the main resort is by motorbike taxis who charge you £1.50
The swimming pool is nice thats all i can say..

Poor value for money if I ever stopped again would pay for the better part of the hotel as the part I stayed in was terrible and was glad to get away from the place.

Top rooms but lack of resort feeling

by Peter from Bangkok, 16 Aug 06

Although the rooms are very very good indeed, very nicely decorated with all amenities needed, I still rate this hotel as only fair due to a lack of facilities and rather poor location.

When I'm on holiday in a beach resort, I expect a beach resort feeling with at least a nice swimming pool. This hotel does not have a swimming pool, at least not one large enough to swim in, and its location in a small noisy street gives one a city feeling, not a beach resort feeling.

No thanks !!

by Marc from United Kingdom,London, 25 Feb 08

Good :Great rooms , great food

Bad : The pool next to a road, pics of naked women in the reception toilets ???? Where there are families with kids ??? Noise next to the pool, the whole front of the hotel is full with sold condos to the whole gay community of the area, they are not painted & its just awful

The Ugly: Receptionists are rude, prices of the goods inside the fridge are sky high even for a hotel.

Highly recommended and excellent value

by kelly devlin from London, 12 Dec 06

This Hotel is excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it. Our studio seemed to be bigger than the rest because it was the last one on the floor and was stylishly furnished. This is a very small establishment about 2-3 min walk from Jomtien but this added to its charm, to get a room of this standard in a big hotel would cost a lot more.

The pool is very small with about 6 or so sun loungers, but as no one else seemed to be using it this didn't matter and both times I used it I had it all to myself! Something I feel should be added though is that there is a fantastic fitted kitchen complete with kettle, toaster, large fridge, electric rings and extractor fan but no cooking utensils at all, just lots of bare cupboards!

There were always dinner plates with a knife and fork set out on the dining table with a cup and saucer, but not even any teaspoons to make the complimentary tea and coffee.

In comparison with the size of the room and the kitchen, I feel it could have benefited from another wardrobe too. Gorgeous bathroom had a huge bath and cute complimentary toiletries. I would definitely return to this hotel (and I believe they are a chain too so I know what standard to expect from "Nirvana") and have already recommended the hotel and AtSiam.com to friends.

Poor staff

by Yau Tsz Ling from HK, 26 Jun 07

The staff there not smile at all, they always with the angry face. This make me think that they are unhelpful. Also when I ask to change room because of ants, they pretend didn't understand English. Accept the staffs, the accommodation is quite comfortable and the room is big.

You cannot beat this place for the price.

by David from USA, 25 Nov 07

I was here in 2005 and now I see the place is much the same as before: excellent. I tried a move up this time by staying in a deluxe studio. I think it is worth the extra money if you have more than one person, but for one, it is a waste of money.

The rooms are so nice here. For the money, you can't beat it. The ambiance and decor is superb.

The good: kitchen, a/c, bed, decor, location

The bad: tv reception fuzzy, wifi slow

I did have a bad experience on my first night. I was given a ground floor room on the corner. Two no-no's at this place!! On the ground floor you cannot open your curtain because people will look in. It is also a bit noisy at night. I requested and was granted, a room on a higher floor and enjoyed myself like the first time I was here.

You cannot beat this place for the price.

Superb Hotel

by Nitin & Sacha from London, UK, 1 Apr 06

We stayed in a Deluxe Studio and was just a great and pleasant stay. Really good value for money, excellent big and clean room. Great decor, bathroom - great size bath (had lots of fun in it !!!).

The location is just great- 2 minutes away from the Jomtien beach. Close to nice restaurants, and other amenities.

Will look no further next time i go to Thailand/Pattaya.
