Robbed once to many

I stayed here over new year 05-06 and will never be back . I was robbed on two occasions from my room while i slept. The hotel staff could not care less about the incidents , when asked to see the manager he just shrugged his shoulders!!
The security is terrible, some other guests I spoke who also got robbed belived the secruity guards where the ones on the rob.
The room was good for the price and was kept clean apart from that I would never consider staying at this hotel again.
Checked out of this establishment early as I could not afford to lose anymore money or phones or watches or cameras.

What a bad services hotel!!

The time we arrive, we had asked the staff that if there any charges of delay check out at 2PM. The staff told us no problem, and no charges. But when we check out our room at 2.20 PM. The front desk staff penalty us for a half day room charges with walk in hotel price. We argue on that point.
Lastly, a man like the boss or manager of the hotel attend on our argument. He show us the bad attitude and ugly face that we must pay the penalty, and also declared that the staff won't give such guarantee. We ask him to call to the staff for asking the details, but he keeping said that he won't get this counter-view with the staff, and also intimidate us if we don't pay, he will call the police. To avoid to miss our flight, I pay them for extra half day room charges at last. Its really a terrible hotel with bad services by cheating traveller like such matters. This is the first time and also the last time I step into the hotel.

Choose this place Last. OK if you are Desparate.

The old wing does not have good rooms. AC was missing the control knob, AC had that musty mold smell. The entire washroom was the shower stall. Door locks are very poor.
I wanted to leave early, before my week was finished. If you pay for a week in advance, you will not get a refund if you want to leave early. They may give a credit voucher, but certainly will not go back.
If you get the room with breakfast, and check-in with 2 people, then you get 2 breakfast for free, but if you check with one person and show-up with 2 at breakfast, they charge for an extra breakfast. The breakfast is not worth the money. Better breakfast at the Lek or Apex, for the money.

We don't go back!

Pattaya is not suitable for Thai People who's need to relax. Because the traffic was terrible (traffic jam same Bangkok). This Hotel, Service mind was poor, In room was not clean enough. Another bad things when I arrived around 3pm , they said the room that I had booking ,they sold to another traveller,
so they changed room, the door cannot lock from inside!!!

Never go back there again

3rd time I've stayed here and it'll be the last. Had 2 phones stolen and money from my room on the 4th floor, the hotel manager was totally useless and didn't care at all that it was obviously an inside job as whoever did it had a master key and left a couple of digital cameras and a video camera (not easy to fit in your pocket).
He even tried to say I'd lost them !!! When I told the tourist police he just laughed and said that the Sawasdee hotels in Pattaya had a very bad reputation for theft. To make matters worse when I checked out they tried to say that I'd had some cigarettes as well and tried to charge me for them, I didn't pay !!!!
Wouldn't stay here again if it was the only place available in Pattaya, oh and the breakfast is awful too. Not an enjoyable stay at all.

I would visit this hotel again ... only ask for a room on floor 6 or 5

This is not an impressive hotel.... but for the money its about what you'd expect. So if you are budget minded its conveniently located... Soi 10. less than 1 KM from walking st. and all the action... but halfway up the soi so quiet and fairly private to get to. The baht busses are very convenient to the hotel and walking st. and if you need there are motorbike taxis right at the door to the hotel. Usually the motorbike taxis cost about 40 baht equal to us about $1.25 or so and fast and safe feeling.The baht bus is 10 baht and takes less than 5 minutes to walking st ... and thats what I cared about.

Great location is fair enough

I walked in to this hotel. There are two sections, the old building(Standard room 550B) and the new building(Standard room 900B).
I would recommend the new section. It is of course much better if you book it online. I tried to bargain/ask for discount but without success. So, I paid 900B/night. What a life!!
The location of the hotel is quite good. You can walk to the Royal Garden shopping center and to Hardrock Cafe.
However, the hotel does not provide a very good service. It is more likely Self-Service.
Breakfast is so bad. Try to be there as early as you can. Because if it is empty, then you have nothing to eat. Hint: Do not try thai breakfast, stick with American breakfast.
The room is fairly clean. But some materials are quite dirty, such as Shower Curtain and the bathroom wall.
My two cents: I think the rate at this site is quite good already. Just go for it.

Unfriendly staff

First of all the hotel staff is not friendly. We had to wait for the check-in although there were no other guests at the reception. The receptionists work slowly and dull. The security guy asked my (Thai)-wife three times for her ID-card in a very unfriendly way and the receptionist saw this but did not tell him that she is a guest of the hotel.
The room was nice, big and clean but there was no seaview because we were on a low level floor although we had a confirmed booking for a high level floor. For the two nights that we did stay there it was OK but we would not come back.

Situated near the beach, clean and comfortable, rooms spacious, staff are friendly, never made it to breakfast due to late nights, try to get a high room if you want a view, not family orientated, excellent value for money.

I plan to stay with this hotel again

This hotel is located not far from the beach, just only 1 min. I liked the Superior room with more space and modern decoration. The breakfast is of American and Thai foods which were good tastes. I would like to recommend this budget hotel for whoever love both of beach and night life.
