Sigma Resort Club Pattaya

Sigma resort is a great resort for those who aren't looking for someplace flashy. Though the amenities are quality, from an Internet lounge (10 Baht/30 cent per minute), and superb room service, it really wasn't expensive.

The rooms are pretty comfortable, with a low wall separating the living area from the sleeping area, and the bathrooms are huge. We did room service every morning for breakfast, and even though we only spent three nights there, I'm sure the quality approach to service is consistent.

It's a little out of the way from say, the Alcazar, or the Walking Street, but transportation is inexpensive and readily available to all the local attractions. The hotel sent us on a great island tour of Koh Larn, and directly outside the resort on the beach we had some fantastic grilled squid. Some English speaking staff was also present, which saved me from speaking bad Thai.
