Sunbeam Hotel Pattaya Reviews & Ratings

I liked this hotel, very nice. However, it is too close to the bars / sleaze district for me. I probably would stay here again, if that scene was my thing. Next time I'll stay some where a little more removed from the bar scene.

Pool side service very poor but the pool itself was nice. Rooms were clean, but this is an old hotel and there are a few battle scars. The bed linen was changed every day. Although the new sheets were usually just as bad. But still clean.

For a single guy you should find this hotel OK right in the centre of Soi 7 & 8 Joiner fee 300 Baht. This can make your stay expensive!

Stayed at the Sunbeam for 2 weeks in October 2006, the rooms were grubby, stained wallpaper, cockroaches in the bedroom and bathroom, I asked to change rooms, they were not very helpful, I was showed 4 other rooms, and they were just as bad. The only nice part of this hotel is the pool area, even then the drinks are expensive. There are much better hotel in the area, and you will save money also. This is not a good hotel.
