Well worth a visit ...

I stayed at Sunshine Vista for 3 and a half weeks this time but stayed there before. I have to say you cannot fault this place. But I have only one complaint it can be a bit noisey [doors, presses] so bad when I first arrived. I asked to be moved to another floor, staff very helpful, but one girl at reception should use her Thai smile a bit more.

Rooms are spotless, nice pool on the roof. Overall good value and in a nice location ...

Give it a go!

We had a studio room which had a kitchen with all the china and cutlery you would need. Breakfast was really good.

Location was about 100m from the Big C (good if your married and rough from the night before ... gives the wife somewhere to go while you recover). Quiet and out of the way, there ARE some beer bars just down the soi, but they are no problem even at night.

If you want to go to Walking Street, walk down to Beach road (200m) and get a Baht bus for 10Baht, or get a motorbike taxi outside the hotel for 40Baht. The choice is yours.

I liked it and will probably be back.

Value for money

This is a really good hotel and excellent value for money, the staff are really helpful, and the rooms are clean and fresh. I have stayed in lots of hotels in Pattaya but would rate this number one for value and location.

Will keep coming back

This was my second stay at Sunshine Vista and I will continue to come back. They have a great staff. The location is ideal: away from most of the night life but close enough to still enjoy it; close to Big C and many good restaurants.

Memorable stay & partying all night long

The hotel is ideally located & it's in close proximity to lot of bars. Moreover since it's bang next to The Central Mall it gave lot of options for meals as most of the fast food outlets were in this mall. All the major massage parlors ware in the same area.

The hotel staff were friendly & accommodative. The breakfast was quite good & the daily Thai cuisine in the morning was fabulous, especially the Thai curries.
The deluxe room had the required amenities for a longer stay. I requested for a non-smoking room but there was a stench of stale cigarette in the room. But after leaving the window open for a while it got better.

The soi in which the hotel is located was quite but at the same time there is a strip of bars just a stone throw away. Ideal for people who want to be away from the usual crowd but still want to have a nice night life.

So in short you had almost everything just a walk away.

Sun Shine Pattaya Fun

There where some hidden charges like if you have someone over for the night you have to buy a guest pass. But the location was fantastic, I had lots of fun and the staff where nice.

Basic but clean

Rooms are basic but clean, cable TV (worked well clear picture on all channels), staff friendly, nice little pool on rooftop, food was good but the eating area had no air con, at night it was hot & sweaty to sit down and eat, however many places close by the hotel to get a meal and sit in comfort.

I had a problem with noise at 3 - 4 AM from some newer beer bars now located in the same Soi (street) not far from this hotel, my room was on the closest side to them, but this was the only room they had at that time. Other than that I enjoyed my stay, it's a simple but clean place to stay with good value and close to everything.

Good value, clean & quiet

Stayed in one of the JR suites - very clean & great cleaning staff. Front Desk staff helpful, but sometimes difficult due to limited understanding of English. Location is fine, if you want to stay in Pattaya, but don't mind walking or riding a baht bus.

You could walk to "Walking Street" but it is a LONG walk - better to ride a baht bus. 5 min. to beach.

Quiet area at night - so no problems due to club noise.

One of the best for the money

Great location just 100m to the night life and shopping centre and 150m to the beach. All the staff very polite and helpful. Rooms are very good nice to have a kettle and a microwave oven.

Impressed

Very friendly staff in a clean hotel in a great location. Breakfast improved since my last stay as has the pool area and the gym. Minor problems with shower - water not draining away. Pool/gym closes at 8pm - why?
