Nice room

by C.C from Macau, 22 Jun 08

Very good value for money. You probably can't get the same quality elsewhere for this villa at this price.

The only thing is that it is off the town center. Therefore it's quite expensive taking a tuktuk to downtown. However, if you are renting a motorbike, it should not be a problem.

2nd time and wouldn't hesitate to do it again

by JLP from Sterling, VA, 10 May 08

Location is great --- within walking distance to beach and restaurants. Bali style villas with private entry and soaking pool. Facility has a larger pool with a restaurant also within walking distance.

Jometien is the quitter side of Pattaya, yet still convenient to nightlife of Pattaya.

We plan to come again

by Pierre from Hong Kong, 5 May 08

My wife and i stayed in one bedroom villa for four night at 04/08. We are very satisfy for the villa itself - good environment, convenient location, 100% privacy, room is clean.

The only thing that i was not happy is that the villa do not provide Wi-Fi service while the room does not has internet service as well.

I strongly suggest the hotel to set up the wi-fi service so that i don't need to bring my notebook outside to check e-mail.
Anyway, overall it's good place to stay for a long vacation.

Very private.

by Anonymous user from Australia, 27 Nov 07

Awesome place to stay and Pretty cheap as well when you compare it to other private pool villa resorts in Thailand.

There were no bugs in my room but there were mosquitoes at night time but that did not bother me as we didn't really sit by the pool at night.

We book for 2 night and ended up staying for 5 at around 180 a night.

My husband and I took our first trip out of the America to Thailand and the people at View Talay Villa were very friendly and helpful all the way to calling a pizza order in for us. Met some really nice people there.

Lived up to my expectations

by David from Ireland, 25 Mar 07

I stayed in a one bedroom deluxe villa for 12 nights over Christmas and new year 06/07. The villa itself was really 1st class with all the amenities you would require (if being really picky i would bemoan the fact that the TV did not have star sports). The service was good and everyone was very polite and friendly. The only downsides I could identify were 1) my pool was slightly cold and only got the sun for 2-3 hours during the day and 2) the complex vip car does not operate after 6pm. I had a look around the other so called top hotels when i was there (Dusit, Marriott and Royal Cliff) and none really offer a VIP service and feeling like VTV. I am booking another trip and view talay villa is top of my list.

Not Satisfied

by Nawaponrath from Bangkok, 13 Mar 07

The stay during Feb 7-9 was OK, however, my latest visit was March 10. I stayed in room 119 which I think was one the older rooms. The facilities were OK but I would strongly recommend the replace the air conditioner as they were very old and it took ages to cool, furthermore, the air con in the living room had a very rotten smell for the entire stay! As a frequent guest I think they should have given me a better room! If it was not that I highly value privacy I would not return there again! BTW the room was full of mosquitoes.

Would love to go back again

by Anonymous user from The Netherlands, 25 Feb 07

My girlfriend and myself stayed here on Valentines day.

Very quiet, tropical garden and private pool, surrounded by walls, totally secluded. King sized bed, nice big shower, interior looks good, kitchen, 2 sofa's, tv, sound system.

We did have a power cut/electric problem while we were in the shower, ha ha ha. We called the reception and someone came and solved the problem immediately.

The resort is quite big, we didn't have a car or motorbike, but they kindly took us to the villa and to Jomtien Beach road at checkout in one of those golf cars.

Would like to go here again in the future, although it is quite expensive. About 10 minute walk from Jomtien Beach Road.

Like being on a deserted island...I'd do it again!

by Jean-Louis Pajot from Washington, DC, 9 Oct 06

This complex of single bungalows is situated in Jomtien near the cross-roads leading to Pattaya. Very close to the beach and restaurants. Nice secluded villas quite and private with personal pool.

I will definitely stay there again!! Highly Recommended

by KARENA WALKER from USA, 11 Sep 06

The Villas are about a 5 min walk from Jomtien Beach. The privacy is outstanding and the private pool is useful for your imagination without any interruptions. Room service was good and assistance was speedy. The photos on the website look just like the Villas. It is very spacious and comfortable.

The staff could not understand a things referred to over the phone but they quickly came out and offered assistance. View Talay Villas is so immaculate that I'm thinking of purchasing one.
