Book superior room Block 9 only

by Billy from HKSAR, 24 Aug 05

I have stayed 3 times, Superior room was great. Small 2 swimming pools, breakfast was good. Most staff was very friendly except receptionist, the first time(Superior room), she/they want to photocopy my passport, and I asked why, she just said 'OK! OK! No copy now'. The second stay (Standard room ) was during SARS, poor manner and I don't want to talk about it. The third stay (Superior room ) was last Oct, 04, I asked what was the price if I extend one night? She reply 28xx Baht and I request one night extended. But she said all full, no way. So I needed to stay at other hotel.

Do not book the Standard, you will be disappointed. Only book superior room (Block 9).

Price has been doubled now, go to others

by Billy from HKSAR, 26 Dec 05

Not a good value for money now. Price has been double now, add a little bit more money and go for Amari or save a little bit money and go for Asiawan with better anythings.

Bad experience in this hotel

by Priscilla from Hong Kong, 3 Jul 06

I don't know what is matter. There were ants in my room, especially toilet. I didn't have any food in my luggage. Just know some ants walking around my room, terrible.

The facilities is OK. If you have bill in this hotel, they will give you the bill in your room, just give me the image--money-minded.

Bad luck!

by MOON from Hong Kong, 20 Mar 07

On the first day of our stay, I went back to my room at the night (almost 11pm). I found that the key card didn't work and the door couldn't be opened. I went to the reception and asked why and the receptionist replied that the key card had something wrong and gave me another one. But this cannot work too. I went back again and asked for help. They asked the engineer to my room and he carried a lot of device (but he seemed not to be familiar with the device, he read the manual). He did his best but the door was still locked. The time was almost 12am, I still stood outside my room and the staffs didn't give me an advice. Finally the engineer climbed to my room's balcony with a ladder and dismantled the glass door even though I thought I locked it up when I went out. He did it and he opened the door from inside. Then he insisted to repair the lock even it was mid-night. After 10 mins, he fixed it. The problem was the lock was out of battery, so it didn't work. All staffs said good night to us and left my room but no compensation. What a service of woodlands resort. It may be an exceptional case.

Not bad to stay in

by U Kin Hei from Macau, 16 Jun 08

The room clean and neat. It got the feel of resort and silent. But when at night wanted to walk out the room, you'll feel a little of scare, coz the environment was quite dark, sometimes when u stayed in the room that next beside u and no others guest, u feel more scary about it.

Finally, the place is good, service not bad and everything was nice!!! Have a nice trip with it

Highly recommended!

by Sripramorn Puwikost from Bangkok, Thailand, 25 Dec 05

My sister and I have just stayed at Woodlands Hotel & Resort for 2 nights from17-19 December in a Superior room with pool view. Located in the quiet part of Pattaya, Woodlands is a perfect place to spend a long weekend.

Everything was great during our stay. We like the shower room most as it was fully equipped. Breakfast has good varieties. Pool areas are so lovely, inviting guests to be around. If Pattaya, Woodlands should be No. 1 in my list to stay!

I will be back

by GARY WILES from Fayetteville, AR, 17 Dec 05

I liked everything about Woodlands, I really liked the tropical jungle landscaping. It was very quiet and relaxing. I will probably go back to Pattaya and stay at Woodlands on my next vacation.

The main reason to go to Pattaya

by Law from Hong Kong, 9 Oct 06

Beautiful surroundings & really nice pool, so relaxing. Security and privacy is good, although it is a little bit dark inside the resort at night, 24-hrs guards are everywhere and you will always feel comfort with that.

Breakfast is OK, not so good and not so bad, but the dinning place really impress me.

The location is convenient, away from the crowd but not so far from the main street. It's a little bit sad that I couldn't book the pool access room since there are fully booked, but the superior room still surprise me so much. The rooms are nice and clean, with good view.

If I go to Pattaya again, I'm sure that I must choose Woodland again.
