Definitely stay again

Highly recommend the Andaman Seaview, Karon Beach. Excellent accommodation and facilities, very friendly helpful staff. The pool was very popular with the kids. Would definitely stay again in the future.

I think it's only a 3 star

This hotel is located in a great spot, 5 mins walk into Kata and a short bartbus ride into the main resort of Karon, and is located across the road from a beautiful beach. There are plenty of shops and restaurants close by.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly, however having travelled around Thailand for the past 3 years, I would only give this hotel a 3 star rating.
The bedrooms were pretty average & would benefit greatly from a make over or the very least a lick of paint. It was an expensive hotel in comparison however I think this was due to the volume of tourist visiting over Christmas and most hotels were fully booked, hence pushing the prices up.

We didn't want to leave!!!

We've just spend our holiday in the Andaman Seaview Hotel (4th - 15th of February 2007) and it was a time we'll never forget! The staff was so friendly!
Maybe it's not a very fancy place, but I've never experienced a cleaner hotel than this one! They were cleaning and sweeping all day long.
On Valentine's eve they had organized a party. The decoration was fantastic! There was an extensive buffet with a barbecue and during your dinner you could enjoy a cabaret-show with the famous Thai "she-males".
The only negative issue was that some staff-members didn't speak and understand English very well, so we sometimes had some misunderstanding about the order. But we tried to avoid this by pointing out what we wanted on the menu.
But in all in all we would surely recommend this hotel for a nice and quiet holiday in Phuket!

Would love to return to a room with a view!

The views are very variable. The view on the first night was awful, and it was only when we threatened to check out the next day, that we suddenly got a much better room. Very large and airy rooms. Pretty good breakfast. Very helpful staff. We had room service the first night at around 1am. The green Thai curry is fantastic, if you can take the spiciness! Location wise, its right opposite the beach so excellent location.
