Really nice

by Michelle De Gasperi from south africa, 30 Oct 05

Staff are really helpful and friendly....location is on the beach and is off to the one side of the beach so its away from all the noise....for me it is ideal...not cheap and nasty, not over the top.

Very Good Service

by Fatima Bham from Johannesburg, South Africa, 6 Feb 06

Hotel very clean. Rooms nice & big. Good swimming pool. Staff very helpful and friendly. Located on quiet end of the beach road - right opposite beach. No coffee machine / kettle in room. Provided hairdryer, umbrella when requested. As requested, moved us from pool-view room to sea-view room as soon as one became available - without extra charge. (December 2005)

Thailand at its best

by mr.ron scholte from vancouver,canada, 10 Feb 06

I loved your hotel, was there last year, awesome kitchen staff (padi) and front staff {bo/may} and cleaning staff, all around, made me feel great, like I was at home, one of the best trips I've ever had in my life, and going out one night with staff after work was a blast, and want you to know how good it was, and how much they I enjoyed their company, and my service. Never did I sit by the pool with out my favorite drink a rum and coke, and my meals were incredible. And everyone calling me Mr.ron, just made me feel that much better, keep up the good work, as i plan on coming back again!!

You get what you pay for at Baan Bored

by Marty from Melbourne, Australia, 20 Feb 06

Good: Located opposite the beach, 7Eleven next door. Bad: No kettle for tea/coffee, bathroom poorly designed and old plumbing. dodgy shower head, streams no spray. No Lifts to 2nd and 3rd floors. Not flash, not much in the way of facilities, but an OK place to rest. The AtSiam website had the best prices available that not even local Phuket agencies could get. Thanks AtSiam!

Nice but don't believe the pictures

by Anonymous user from Denmark, 13 May 06

Very nice place. But don't believe the pictures. They are much to pretty. If you would like to check out later than 12, you have to pay 100 baht pr extra hour.

Internet was important to me

by Graham Jackson from Australia, 1 Jul 06

The room staff and restaurant staff where really good, the rest where in Sabi Sabi land. The Internet never worked 70% of the time, and when it came to leave they tried to charge me extra for every day it did not work.

At night time it is a long walk along dark streets to the town centre. Water was boiling hot every day so this was a plus, pool was clean, and had good off street parking. So if the Internet is not important then you would be happy here, but a little over priced for location and value, but on the other hand this is Phuket where all is expensive in Thailand Terms.

Loved Phuket!

by Nigar from Azerbaijan, 3 Oct 06

I was given room with terrible construction view. Room was on the 4th floor and no elevation. If you have luggage make sure ask for room on the lower floor. Staff did not speak great English, but can understand. Location is really good one!

Patong not as good as it used to be

by Grant from Brisbane, Australia, 24 Feb 07

At the south end of Patong - a bit of a walk to Bangla Rd (but, a direct walk up the beach front), but right across from the beach. Rooms were large and clean (they have a safe), the pool looks clean.

The downfall - the unfriendliness of the staff. Everybody from the towel boy, through to the reception and restaurant staff.

Like most of Patong, it almost seems mandatory that you have to light up at breakfast etc. Do not stay here if you want a smoke free environment around your food.
