Remarkable Honeymoon Stay
by Steven Leung from Hong Kong, 4 Sep 06
Cheerful, polite and helpful staff and their English standard are quite high.
The bellboy was helpful and powerful that they didn't mind to pick our luggage along the steep hillside.
The spa treatment was excellent with both the environment and the massage techniques. The setting of the villa was romantic with clean and comfortable room and I loved the bed so much.
This hotel is value for money and I will recommend my friends to stay here next time.

Just perfect!
by Claudia Dehn from Hamburg, Germany, 14 Dec 05
My boyfriend and I stayed in Central Karon Village for one week in November 2005 and it was gorgeous. It was even better than I thought it would be. The villas are just great, very romantic. The view is incredible. We had a spa treatment which was wonderful and during the treatment we could look at the sea.
It is located on a hill so if we wanted to go to the town we would either have to take a tuk-tuk because the street partially wasn't safe enough to walk on or we had to walk along the beach which of course is very romantic, too. But as soon as it gets dark we couldn't use the beach-way so at least on the way back we had to take a tuk-tuk.
I strongly recommend this hotel!

Happy Holiday
by Susan from Isle of Wight England, 16 Nov 05
Lovely Hotel, lovely helpful happy staff, could not do enough for you. The swimming pools were very clean, and well cared for. The beach nearby was also very clean. Fantastic food could not fault it at all.
One silly problem, not enough drawer space in the bungalow. Apart from that we had a very enjoyable holiday, and would certainly go again.

So-so hotel
by Claire from Indonesia, 8 Jul 05
The hotel is built on a steep hill and our room was in the center so moving to the pool or lobby required a sweaty walk we usually got the buggy to pick us up. Buggy service is efficient. The employees speak poor English.
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the beach but it's not a very nice beach. There is a dilapidated shack and flotsam and jetsam on the deserted beach. If you go further up Karon beach by shuttle bus or car, the beach gets pretty decent. The night-shift employees were rather cheeky and made us feel slightly uncomfortable. The papaya juice at The Cliff restaurant is awesome!
