We got a free upgrade from a Superior to the Deluxe room. The weather was quite sunny in spite of the raining season. The staff was friendly and we had a really great time.

Room/Balcony & Bathroom were dirty/dusty. Water from the tap (bathroom) was yellowish in colour. Shower curtain was dirty & filled with algae & fungus. You won't want to soak in the tub looking at them.

All furniture were dusty and dirty. The hotel surrounding was not well kept. Dead plants & dust can be seen everywhere. Restaurant has got a bad smell & dirty of course. Breakfast was bad: lack of variety & foods were displayed badly and they looked very unhygienic. Eat only from the eggs section to be safe. Utensils were dirty and not washed clean enough.
The hotel staffs seemed more eager to serve the Caucasians than Asians. Sad to note that. Poor security - anyone can be seen walking in & out of the hotel compounds.

Surprised to know that Karon Princess is only 3 yrs old given the bad condition of the hotel.

Hotel is located right at the beach. Too long way to the bars and most restaurants. Had to go there by expensive tuktuk. Day before check out, they promised me a late check out at 4pm without extra charge. Next day it was changed to 2pm and 500 baht extra charge. After a long negotiation I got to stay at 4pm. Not very good feelings about this "money away from farang" hassling. I don't recommend this hotel for anyone.

Rooms are a good size, bed is large but uncomfortable to sleep on. Brown water came out of the sink tap. Restaurant is small, and not much variety for breakfast. Many times while I was eating I found the staff usually staring at me and laughing, which you can imagine was a little unnerving.

One night I was woken by a phone call from one of the male staff, calling me for no reason what so ever. A bit unprofessional i think. Pool is very small, not many people can sunbath around it due to lack of space. No decent nightlife, nearest is Patong but its very expensive to get there by tuk tuk its 100baht per person.
