Novotel Phuket Resort

Outstanding hotel and incredible location on a hill and overlooking Patong Beach. They brought my girlfriend a birthday cake on her birthday (without me asking!). The room was loaded in a high-class fashion. The price might have been a bit more than the average Thailand prices but it was certainly cheaper than anywhere around the United States at a five-star rate. I'm looking forward to a return soon.

This hotel is great for anyone in great physical condition. It is located in the beautiful Kalim Bay just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach. However, to get up and down the hill takes quite a bit of walking.

The rooms are gorgeous and decorated in traditional Thai adornments. The bathroom is pretty small and the bathtub/shower is not made for people who are bigger than the average Thai.

The pools and the views are the best parts of this resort. You can have any meal in the resort and have a wonderful view of the Andaman Sea. Sunsets and sunrises are superb! The pools are great, especially when it's hot all the time.
