Our Favourite Place In The World

There was not one thing my husband and I did not like about the Patong Merlin and the best things were the staff and of course the 3 swimming pools. All staff were very friendly and they always enjoyed a chat and a laugh. My husband and I stayed at the Patong Merlin twice in 2004 and also returning August, 2005. We plan to have a holiday once a year at the Patong Merlin if we can.

Simply fantastic

Absolutely fantastic and like the other reviewer, our favorite place in the world (little wonder most of the guests we met had stayed there a dozen or more times!)

The staff are second to none, friendly to the point you could call them family. Great rooms, great pools, a great location., great food. Wish we could afford to stay there every month.

Fantastic value

I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly suprised. The Patong Merlin was fantastic. The location was prime, the pools amazing and the staff bent over backwards to help.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Phuket - I am coming back next year!

I simple loved every minute of my stay

I have stayed at Merlin before and I have always been impressed this time however as I was traveling on my own I even more impressed with the room that I was in and in future will ask for that floor and that room if possible. Staff are aways pleasant and willing to help. I will not even consider booking anywhere else.

Patong Merlin Recommend it! Going Back in October

There's nothing bad I could say about the Patong Merlin. I enjoyed every second of it and would not have a second thought about another hotel if I was in Phuket. I have been there for 2 years in a row an I am going again this year.

I would like to say a hello to Dankit an Sunan they both work in the coconut coffee room at the Patong Merlin. The staff are kind an very helpful. The cleaning lady we had in our room was always cheerful an happy, I have never seen anybody that happy when cleaning.

I would recommend this hotel any day an if I had the choice out of going to Europe an Phuket it would be Phuket straight away without a thought. It is best to go in October as it is very warm but hasn't reached its hottest peak just yet. The beaches are beautiful only two mins away from the hotel and you can get fantastic massages, hair braiding an nails done there. Trust me go the Patong Merlin.

Patong Merlin Hotel is heaven on earth, we just love everyone there, they on the angels. Everyone should stay there and experience the hospitality, the great place it is.

May we please say hello to the loveliest angels we've meet.

Will definitely go back

We liked every thing about patong merlin the staff were great and the pools were fantastic didn't want to come home. The rooms we verry clean breakfast was great anything you could wish for breakfast it was there for you. Our first time at patong merlin we would go back every one was very helpful.

A touch of paradise in Phuket

The Patong Merlin had a wonderful feel to it, from the moment we entered the Foyer! It is truely a beautiful little bit of paradise in Phuket. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The Hotel in general a great value hotel with beautiful pools and very comfortable rooms. The cleaning staff were just adorable and made you feel very welcome and at home. We would definitely consider returning to this hotel! We were there in May 2006!

Missing you all, hoping to come back soon!

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at the Patong Merlin. We had a lovely room overlooking the large pool, couldn't have had a better view if we had chosen the room ourselves! All the staff were very friendly and polite nothing was too much trouble for them. We made some nice friends, hello to 'Sam' & 'Denny', they were amazing people! We were bed & breakfast, and there was always plenty to eat, you could have an egg cooked anyway you liked, fried, boiled, scrambled, or an omlette with all the trimmings! We certainly recommend this hotel.

Great Value

Main attraction before staying was location and the off peak price.

We loved it there, had everything we needed, I rate the rooms average, nothing wrong with them, but basic.

But rate everything else as excellent, especially the off peak deal of paying 5 nights, get 5 free. We will stay again if we go back to Phuket.
