Poppa Palace is a new hotel with nice and clean rooms. They have got quiet environment even it is located in the heart of Patong town. I enjoyed the atmosphere so much. However, I was fairly disappointed with the hotel receptionists' attitude. Although they looked friendly, but they hardly smiled/greeted us and answered questions without looking into our faces. But yet they were so cheerful to the Western tourists. I don't mean to speak discrimination here, but some how I did experience a gracious grin by a budget hostel/dormitory staff. We are tourists, too!
