Seagull Home Phuket Hotel

Very good everything and and specially the nice personal. Room interior was little old than. Ok, I've be there before Tsunami but when I come down next time. I will certainly stay at Seagull.

I have been seeing picture of our hotel after renovation. It looks marvel. I recommended it too all people I know.

Location opposite the southern end of Patong beach near shops, eateries, bus stop to Phuket City & Simon Cabaret. Relatively quiet place, bearing in mind it was the Loy Krathong weekend. Except for the inclusive breakfast ( which was of average standard), we ate out purely because we were out exploring, shopping, having massages & sightseeing.

The small swimming pool was adequate as most of the relatively few guests did not use it. The electronic safety box in the room was the most useful aspect of the stay.

The negatives were the poor TV/ satellite reception, the lack of pool towels & hot water in the shower/bathroom. We did not make a fuss to the hotel
management as we felt that maybe too many guests were using the hot shower at the same time.

With the benefit of hindsight, maybe we should have. Perhaps, the housekeeping maid (when making up the room) could check to see that all the lights, hot water, etc. are working properly & reporting it to management if they are not, so that they can be put right. This will save face all round !!!
The guest need not feel embarrassed to complain & the hotel management will be seen to be looking after their guests needs & thus ensuring a most pleasant stay.

To be fair, the hotel manager did send us to our next hotel in north Patong in the hotel SUV for a nominal sum when the taxi we arranged to take us there on check-out failed to turn up. Whatever happens, Farangs should learn to be more patient, understanding, less arrogant & above all keep smiling & their cool. Mai Pen Rai.
