“I booked their package and was later upgraded to the deluxe room. It looked pretty nice, large and spacious. Design was good as well. As I walked past those standard rooms, they looked really small, not like what I see in their website. I was lucky to have the free upgrade.
Cleanliness was alright, although the day before my check-out, they did not do a thorough job. Toilets were not clean fully, I expect that the sink top will be clean and dry and any water holes unclogged.
Location was quite good, about 10 minutes walk to Bangla Road and near to the beach but as with most hotels you need to walk across the road to get there.
The hotel's restaurant was nicely facing the road,as such has many guests which probably allowed them to offer a more competitive prices.”

Thara Patong Beach Resort & Spa is just a short stroll to the Beach, the bustling shopping and nightlife areas. It is approximately 42 km. to Phuket International Airport (about 50 minutes drive) and about 25 minutes drive to Phuket Town.Thara Patong Resort offers two stunning free form shaped swimming pools with adjacent children’s pool and jacuzzi. All 172 rooms offer a balcony with stunning views on the tropical garden. Non-smoking rooms as well as rooms for handicapped are available.
Thara Patong Resort has 172 rooms, each room looks out on the serenity of the tropical gardens and pools from each private balcony. The Deluxe rooms in Tamarind Wing have both a Queen size bed and one single bed / The bathrooms have a separate bathtubs and showers. The ground floor rooms of Tamarind Wing have a very popular direct patio access to the swimming pool. The entire top floor is Non-Smoking. The One and Two Bedroom units all have a separate Living Room. Handicapped adapted rooms are also available.
