We had a room at the new part of the hotel. It was a surprise. Excellent room and a very service minded staff. We have no complains what so ever, and we will come back next year.

Nice hotel, good value for money

The hotel is 5-10 minutes from "Kata-town" and 2-3 minutes away from another "town" (walking). In both "towns" you can eat, shop and book trips. The beach is another 5-10 minutes from "Kata-town" and pretty nice. The hotel Rooms are overall nice and clean. The room is rather dark, since there's no ceiling-lamp. The bed takes up most of the room. The pool isn't very large - but nice.
The breakfast buffet has some Thai-food and the standard European/American food.
If you don't mind walking a bit and don't need a large, luxurious room, then this is a good place to stay.

Highly recommended

Stayed here for 3 nights at end Dec 05. Good location, a few minutes walk to good selection of bars, restaurants and shops, and about 10 mins walk to the beach.
Hotel is very nice, good standard of rooms, good breakfast selection, free internet in lobby. Best of all is the pool area. Huge pool, beautifully landscaped, particularly outside the new deluxe wing, where there are rooms with balconies where you can walk straight into the pool. If we'd known how nice they looked beforehand, we'd have paid the extra for one of those!
Overall, highly recommended.

Very nice and relaxing

Kata beach is one of the most beautiful in Thailand and a place of choice if you're want to relax and get away from the busy places. The room was very cool with an excellent pool view, many and great TV channels and free Internet service is something that everyone appreciates. I would definitely recommend this place for travellers who want to spend a relaxing and beautiful time in Kata.

Lovely Hotel

Wonderful hotel, very friendly staff, we stayed in the pool access rooms, my only complaint is that the pool could have been cleaner, there were lots of stones etc at the bottom, and although we were there for almost a week, I never saw the pool cleaned once.

Loved the place !

We stayed in a Deluxe pool access room. It was great ! The pools were big and nicely landscaped. Lobby area had very tall ceilings so it was very airy and relaxing. Staffs were really polite and friendly. Free internet was a bonus, too. The only disappointment is the breakfast. Buffet menu changed slightly everyday but they were not much to choose from compare to more up market place, but we paid very good price, I shouldn't expect too much ! Such a value for money !
It's in a bit quiet part of Kata. There were still many shops and restaurants near by but not as busy as somewhere like Patong or Kata Centre. It was good for us this way because we weren't looking for any night out as we traveled with our three-year-old son.
I would love to stay here again if we have chance to come back to Phuket.

We're going back

Loved this hotel, we had a pool view room which overlooked a beautiful pool and was safe with a 2 years old. We had a enough room as a family of 4 with a 7 and 2 year old. The room and bathroom were lovely, and felt secure. It was cleaned everyday. Staff were very friendly. Lots of channels on the TV. AC was super, felt like winter at times.
There were 3 pools total incl 2 kiddy safe pools which ours loved. And breakfast was included. We are hopefully heading back for a couple more nights

Beautiful pool access

We loved the pool access. Granted it was a little more expensive, it was all worth it. The though of just lounging by the pool the whole day and just jumping in whenever we wanted was just wonderful. However, although the pool was cleared of litter every morning, its not spared by the leaves and flowers from the frangipanni trees around the pool. Didn't stop us anyway.
The room was spacious and the bathtub design is quite creative. The tv however had no Sg channels or any movies or Discovery, NatGeo likes.. Not that great though.
The staff were obliging and helped whenever we asked.
Food, like most of Phuket, is not halal though. Breakfast was just okay.
All in all... We miss Kata Palm. My bf and I had a great stay. The pool access is really romantic.

Pool accass

We had this pool access room. It was very nice, and the staff had marked our rooms with flowers and fruit while it was our honeymoon. Friendly staff, nice rooms, a bit cold pool. Very nice staff in the pool bar but we missed some music down there.

Foul smelling bedding. Unreliable airport pick up. Non-accomodating

We booked a pick-up at the airport, but nobody showed up. We waited for an hour before finding our own transportation. The hotel then tried to charge us for the scheduled pick-up insisting that someone was there to meet us. We were finally able to convince the manager that the driver was a no show.
The room was dirty, especially the bed pillows. I woke up with my hair smelling like vomit and mildew - literally. I had to soak my hair in the chlorinated pool (to de - stink my hair!) and then spend time drying it which took a lot of time (I have a lot of hair). I had not planned to spend my morning doing this and the hotel was unreasonable about allowing us a late checkout even though they caused the delay. I think they were angry about our claim that the taxi driver didn't show up at the airport the day before. I was completely disgusted by this hotel.
Thankfully we only stayed one night.
